Why not throw in matching pajamas to make long lasting Christmas memories? We did!

Christmas Matching Pajamas…

Our Matching Pajamas, were so fun to wear Christmas morning. I used the Simplicity Pattern 1285 to make them.

As we were choosing our fabric for the Christmas Matching Pajamas, in the store we didn’t notice the dark gray material had shimmer to it until evening time when dimmed light hit it. Of course, Joceyln and I didn’t mind the shimmer, but my husband wasn’t too sure about it. He was a good sport and wore them anyways. Thanks Honey Pie!

My husbands Pajamas included a long sleeve shirt and pants and Jocelyn and I had long sleeve super long overshirts.

Simplicity 1285 is the pattern I Used

For the most part, Simplicity patterns are very easy to use, with this pattern, I had a little trouble maneuvering the front opening, as this was the first time I have ever tried it. By the time I got to the third pajama, I completely removed the idea of adding the front opening. Personally, the front opening wasn’t very flattering for the ladies.

The material we chose is very soft, and stretchy, it’s a combo of cotton and jersey. He wears them often and tells me how comfortable they are. If you choose to use this pattern, just know that in my opinion, the Simplicity pattern sizes run a little big.  My next pajama project, I will go down at least one size for all sizes.

Bunch of CLOWNS! What?

Wearing the Matching Christmas Pajamas, made taking down the christmas tree fun this year, too!

The Family Christmas Matching Pajamas were a hit with us, we had so much fun wearing them. I will definitly continue to use the Simplicity 1285 Pattern for future projects.

I hope you enjoyed todays, It’s Sew Show & Tell project, if you’ve used this pattern for your creative sewing project, I would love for you to share your results or stories.

Keep checking in to see what I’m up to next!
